thanks for the info Randy.
            a couple of questions...

            1. How do you like the 'breech lock' on the 631?  Is it a bit of a pain having to slide it forward every time you want to cock it?  Also, what happens when you slide it does the barrel drop down a bit then you cock it from there?

            2. Are the 630 and 631 identical hardware wise eg. sights, barrel, springs, seals, etc, etc except for the breech lock of course?

            3. I am wrestling with which gun to buy.  The 630 is 50 bucks cheaper than the 631.  Which one would you buy knowing that?

            thanks,

            sean

#1  you get used to it after awhile, just like the auto safety. 8)

#2 the 630 and 631 are identical with minor differences, the stocks, rear sights, barrel latch and trigger adjustment to name a few. the 631 is the better rifle in these areas, I posted a review on another board about 6 months ago, I'll see if I can find it for you.

#3 if you check out www.gunsnthings.ca/ that may seal your choice. the 631 is the better rifle and guns 'n' things has the best canadian price around. :eek
