cz 83 .380 at the range.
« on: September 20, 2001, 05:26:57 AM »
Last night I took my 83 to a local range. Everyone was shooting @ 15 yards..which I did also.  7 out of 10 targets
at this distance were in the black.  There were some people
taking "gun lessons" and one of the instructors came over
and watched the 83 shoot.  He wanted to try it and was
very impressed...he nailed the black 8 out of 10 times @ 20+
yards. All I can say is I hope my shooting skills get close to
this little guns capabilities..sometime.
P.S. I fed it federal, winch, cci speer and corbon..over
250 shells and not a hick up..

Good news, I also took my new old .380 cz83 out to my woods for testing, after a cleanup/inspection. This is a very accurate gun with a delighful light and smooth trigger pull. After shooting my cz70s a lot recently, I was really surprised how smooth a trigger can be. You did not know when it would break -- every time. The felt recoil was less than the older 50/70 (.32) models I've been shooting.

So . . . how about posting some .380 targets in Pocket Pistols? Whoever gets theirs first, just start a topic there. I will have a photo up for sure before end of day, Tuesday.
