Single Action .40cal

I am debating whether or not to convert a standard CZ 75 to single action or just order the SA version.  If I get the factory single action I will have special order it.  I will also need to change the safety, the trigger, and hammer.  I prefer the standard single sided safety found on the double acion model, I detest plastic triggers, and if I am going to change the trigger I might as well change the hammer.  If I convert a DA/SA to SA only, I can get the gun now for a little less money.  How difficult is it to convert and will a converted trigger be as good as one on a true single action?  Either way, I am going to need some work done.  Which solution makes the most sense from a cost/performance standpoint.

All of the .40 models come with ambidextrous safeties.  And you can't easily convert them to single-sided only.  I think you're stuck with the ambi-safety.

You also can't buy a .40 slide from CZ.

The SA model did -- but may not still -- have a different beavertail which some like much better.  (My 9mm version does have the more-upswept beavertail.)

Except for that, and the trigger, (and the disconnector, not used in the SA version) the guns are pretty similar.

And yes, a converted model will be as good as a factory SA, if both have good trigger jobs.

THe SA has a different frame the beavertail is more wept and feels better also it uses the new cut for the magazine release overal a much better frame I would certianly chose the SA frame
