Tactical Sport fixed rear sight accuracy
« on: April 06, 2007, 07:59:04 AM »
I am interested in purchasing a 9mm tactical sport to go along with my other cz's. The rear sight is described as a fixed target type. I am curious as to whether or not this is factory adjusted for specific distances and specific ammo or can it be used for various ammo/weights.
I would appreciate any information current owners can provide as to how they use theirs and what ammo brand/reloads work well at 25 yards.
Thanks for any input.

CZ typically, with their 9mm, tests their guns using Sellier & Bellot 9mm 124 gr. ammo.  I would expect them to shoot to point of aim at about 20 yards with that ammo.

Except for that, there's no reason to think the CZ would be any different than any other gun when switching bullets weights or powder...  it's gonna vary.

I find that the CZ TS fixed sights are dead on for me (and my buddy who has one).

My fixed sights were dead nuts on for elevation at 15 yards (maybe an inch high).  Just had to adjust the windage.  I was worried too before I bought it but not anymore.
