I dont own one, yet, but all I can say is the trigger is friggin awesome, right out of the box, not work at all. I played with the one at Prod Nats last year at the CZ table and the trigger is like 1-1.5lbs, stock out of the box!!!

No trigger job needed on those. The CZ rep said that is factory standard for those guns.

The trigger is a work of art.

Just one caveat: Make sure the grip isn't too large for your hands before buying.  I have medium sized hands and couldn't get a good grip on that MONSTER and still be able to reach the thumb safety.

So, I went with a Witness Elite Limited instead.  (The only downsize of which is dealing with EAA... >:  )

I already own a Tac Sport in 9mm but, I'm also
considering a Witness Elite. What type of problems did you
have when dealing with EAA?

Thank you
Mark

I just got my Tactical Sport out of Layaway. I took it down to my local range and ran a hundred rounds of 155 grain, copper plated, cast lead bullets through my pistol. It was extreemly accurate at 15 yards! I did not have a single malfunction! The action is silky smooth! The trigger let off is to die for!

This is a big pistol. It really soakes up the recoil of the snappier 40 S&W cartridge.

My only negetive comment is: There is a lot of day light around that skinny front sight! The notch in the rear, fixed sight is more than generous. The front sight blade is very narrow. I am not used to this combination, but I was able to shoot the pistol just fine even with these old eyes of mine!

Yours,
Bob Troxell.

I wouldn't hesitate if I were you and pick one up soon.  The prices will just increase and as others begin to realize what nice shooters they are out of the box with their light single action trigger that will just help in increasing their price.  I really enjoy my .40 S&W and have been trying to compete with it in USPSA Limited and Limited 10.  I'm also trying to dial in the right load to work with in competition.  I've heard the lighter bullet faster powder combination with the snappy feel to be a nice compliment to the heavier dust cover Tactical Sport.  Again, right out of the box this pistol is accurate!
