CZ 75 Tactical Sports
« on: December 22, 2005, 12:50:43 AM »
I saw an add for the new CZ Tactical Sports yesterday and it looks almost exactly like my Witness Tactical II, only the barrel on the CZ is a bit longer. The CZ is a very nice gun, but at a MSRP of about $1,200, costs well over twice what I paid for my TAC II. Is anyone here familiar with the new CZ and the TAC II and can tell me how much alike they REALLTY are?

I don't know anything about the witness but I just bought a TS yesterday and I love it.  It is a super accurate pistol with a great SA trigger.

The Tactical Sport is no where near the same as a Witness Tactical II.

The TS is a full dust cover, cone barrel, single action competition gun that includes a magwell in the frame, and has an MSRP around $1,000

The Witness Tactical II is a single/double action gun with a shortened barrel (compact) and ported for duty/carry purposes, and goes for around $450 ballpark

That should help clear up any differences.
