Thank you for the help, made my choice.

well I went back to the gun shop, with the advice I recieved here.
I compared the ruger and cz-75 again. I handled both guns for a while, comparing
feel, pointabilty, and tightness of fit.
I chose and paid for the cz! Now  I have to wait ten long days.
I can,t hardly wait to shoot it!
Any ideas on what ammo I should use to start with?
                  Thanx again, SS

SS,
You done splendid and I guarantee you will love it.  Ammo isnt an issue.  Get whatever you find.  To break it in say first 300-500 rnds, use FMJ target ammo.  Walmart sells 100 rnds of Winchester whitebox for 10.96.  This is what I would use at the range also....plinking, shooting highly dangerous and aggresive inanimate objects.  Congradulations....
Shoot well

Great choice. You will come to like the CZ75 more and more as you shoot it. If you need or want help in choosing accessories please let us know.
I hope you will join the fun with us often and keep us updated on you and your 75's improvements.

Congratulations! Be forewarned, though--CZs breed like rabbits in the household. Once you get your hands on one, you'll want another, then another, then another, then... well, you get the idea.

For reasonably priced ammo. the 9mm Winchester 115 gr. FMJ 100-round "value pack" that is available at Walmart for $10.96 can't be beat. It might even be cheaper than reloading.

Best of luck with your new CZ!

Hi, glad we could be of some help. Should you really hate your new 75B, i'm sure there will
be someone here that will buy it..

Then you can buy the Ruger.

IF that is the case..i'm 99.9% sure it won't be.

"Love at First Shot!" is how even a lot of veteran handgunners describe their CZs.

MY 9mms served me well. but i've alway looked for a gun more suitable to my hands.

Forl anyone who is not caliber specific and looking for a starter gun that
is low cost, but 100% reliable.

I'd not say the 75B 9mm. Rather the CZ83 in 9mm MAK or .380. These guns seem
to fit everyone equally well and are not intimidating to new shooters...esp in .380
and .32 acp.

There seems to be a CZ fit for most everyone..except us really picky types.
who want .357 SIGs and Compact .40s and 97Bs in 10mm:)

Also, i see Sister Sarah and Sara Bellum..good to see some 'females" on CZF.
