Just wanted to say hello to everyone.  I ordered a P-01 three days ago and expect it in this week.  I've been trying to locate a P-01 for a two months. It seems that I wasn't the only one who just had to have one. I did manage to locate a CZ 75 which gave me a chance to check the quality and get a general feel for the pistol.  It wasn't till I ordered a P-01 that I lucked onto this forum.  Everything i've read here tells me I made the right choice.  My plan is to use it for a range pistol as well as one for the car and outdoor adventures. I  use a Khar PM40 as my primary carry pistol, and it's a fine weapon, but it's not much fun after about 20 or 30 rounds.  The P-01 will see a lot of use as well as being depended for protection.  I'll be back with a range report as soon as I get my hands on it.

Welcome. You will LOVE it. One word of caution: Do NOT use the base of the mag to push out the slide release pin out, as the owners manual advises. It will scratch the slide. Use the base of a Bic lighter, or a small piece of wood.

You could also use the back of your cleaning brush.

Whether it be beast or man
Will suffer the bite or be stung dead on sight
By those who inhabit this land

For there's is the power and this is the kingdom
As sure as the sun does burn
So enter this path, but heed these four words,
You shall never return

Congrats! You need to buy the Kadet 22LR conversion kit. Read my thread regarding Kadet fitting, Kadet slide stop upgrade, and 22 ammo.

Once the slide stop pin has been inserted/removed a few times, it will come out with normal hand pressure.
