XS 24/7 Big Dots

I contacted XS about getting Big Dots for the 40P. They said they don't have them but said that they do have them for the 40B. Well, the slide is the same so I mentioned this to them. Those should work fine. Has anyone put Big Dots on their 40P? Is it difficult to swap sights on this slide? Glocks are simple to change but I'm not sure about the 40P. http://www.xssights.com/store/handgun.html

I've put 40B night sights on my 40P. I have a sight pusher so changing them was a piece of cake, no idea how it would go with a punch though. One thing to remember is that you'll probably have to modify the rear sight a bit. The dovetails are the same, but the 40B uses a shorter hammer than the 40P/P-01, so 40B sights don't have the cut out area in the back to prevent the sight from impeding the fall of the hammer. Just modify the new sights to match the ones you remove from your 40P.

I assume you mean modify using a dremel?

Yes. You need to cut away the lower center part of the rear face of the rear sight to match the one originally on the 40P.

I replaced std. sights with XS 24/7 Big Dots , I used brass punch and drove out old sights from right to left looking from behind gun.
Installed new Big Dots after mods, left to right looking from behind gun. Instructions come with Big Dot Sights, very easy to swap out. I carry CZ40B with Big Dots every day and fwiw I wouldn't use any other. Good luck!
