Help: slide wear already?
« on: January 06, 2009, 03:45:20 PM »
I bought a new CZ75b two month ago, and only had 250 rounds through it. When I cleaned the gun, I found some scratches and pits on the slide mostly at the rear, like this: and

It was smooth like a miorro when I saw it new. Is this normal during break in, or something I should worry about?

Although I not a CZ 75b person, I have a question: What lubricant are you using?

I just looked at my 75BD Police that hasn't had a single round through it yet because I've worked every day since I bought it. Mine has mill marks on the bottom of the slide, also. HTH YMMV

Same thing with my 75B Stainless. NIB and only fired at the factory. I just spent half an hour polishing the rails. Double action trigger is somewhat smoother as the trigger bar rides along these rails.

It doesn't look like machine marks to me. Thank you though.

My three new CZ75's all look the same.  (Two CZ75B's and one SP-01)  Nothing to worry about.

Absolutely normal for a CZ.  Nothing to worry or be concerned about.
