question about magazine release spring
« on: April 18, 2008, 06:13:14 AM »
Does the magazine release spring interchange with the one in the CZ-75? I was wondering if I could get one that was a little bit easier to press. I have short thumbs that don't let me get good leverage on the lever without having to release my grip and canting the gun to one side. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm looking at the schematics... is it possible to reverse the mag release and have it come out the right side of the gun, so as to use my trigger finger instead?

Looking at my 40B the mag release should be reversable. The opening in the frame is the same on both sides. Warning, I have not tried this.

Good shooting.
Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not really after you!

actually, i tried it last night. it doesn't work. the mag release, when flipped upside down to the other side, holds the magazine 1/8" higher than it normally would. oh well.
