CZ 110 Is In The USA
« on: January 04, 2008, 05:51:45 PM »
I thought this might be of interest here. SSMEDWI.COM is importing the CZ110 but they don't say what caliber it is or have a price on it yet. I have been wanting the 110 instead of the 100 and it looks like I might finally get one.

For those of you in Florida, they are located in Plant City and go to all the local gun shows.

I always wanted a CZ 110. (Probably because we couldn't get them in the U.S.) They are 9mm Para only.

According to this web site world.guns.ru/handguns/hg99-e.htm they were made in 9x21, .40s&w, and 9 luger. I can't read the caliber on the gun in SSMEDWI's picture even when I zoom in so it could be one of the three calibers. Either way I might be talking with this importer about it at a gun show this weekend. If its 9x21, I will have to reconsider buying one.

That is probably true.  It may be accurate to say that CZ-UB has only offered them in 9x19mm in recent years.  At any rate, the CZ-UB website for Europe (linked above) says 9mm Para only.  Since the CZ 110 has never been offered in the U.S., I highly doubt there are many .40 models out there.  Traditionally, CZ has not imported 9x21mm IMI pistols into the U.S.

Older reference books (like Hogg's Military Small Arms of the 20th Century) say both the CZ 100 and 110 are 9mm Para only.  However, that doesn't mean much at all.  First, we know that's not true on the CZ 100, although it may have been true at the time of publication.  Second, these types of reference books are not infallible.  I have seen errors even in Jane's publications.

Bottom Line:  I expect all of the SSMEDWI CZ 110s to be 9mm Para, but I am often wrong.

Hi guys, how are all of you? Well there is a long time since my last post, anyway, here at my country some time ago you were able to find the CZ 110 in 9mm and .40, when I bought mine I decided go for the 9mm, anyway I don't know why now you could only find it in 9mm if you want one in .40 there is going to be the CZ 100, so I think maybe they only made some of it and now they are making it only in 9mm. maybe this could help a little bit in this discussion, anyway someone have any update in this? Is great gun I hope all my friends at USA could have one!

Spoke with a rep at SSME Deutsche Waffen, Inc. in Fla. this afternoon. He advised he is still working with Washington to get these into the US. He stated that they would only be 9mm. if and when they were able to import. However he did say they were working on it...
