The Kadet (and most rimfire pistols) are much more forgiving than rimfire rifles. One reason is that you tend to shoot the rifles at longer ranges than the pistols. I shoot pistols (especially rimfire pistols) at 25 yards, tops. I shoot 452/453 rifles at 75-100 yards usually. That extra distance really opens groupings up.
What I usually do is find the best round for my 453, which is Winchester PowerPoint, when I can find it, and Wolf, when I can't find the Winchester. Both shoot fine from the Kadets I've had, so I just stuck with that; its just easier and cheaper to buy in bulk.
Onl if I had feeding troubles with the pistol, would I change to two different ammos. That happened to me once with a S&W 22A, which had trouble with Wolf ammo.
