Anyone have a CZ-75 airsoft pistol?

I have the Smith & Wesson 4506 that's sold at Dick's and it's a ball for across-the-living-room target practice with its included sticky gel target.  It's full sized but a bit light.  It shoots very well.

I just noticed a Japanese-made CZ-75 airsoft pistol on eBay so I HAD to order it!

I'll end up giving them to my nephews after a while.  Maybe.  :)

Way cool.  My son knows the airsoft deal, so I know a little.  This s a pretty "cheapo" pistol - a springer, and plastic.  Gas guns are wayyyyy cooool, but cost from $100-300, depending on quality, etc.  A good one can be had for $120, sometiomes less on sale.

The Beretta select fire 92 is too cooool.

But... we do expect a full range report and pics!  It does at least look cool.

The S&W is a cheapie, too, but it shoots well.  If the Marui is as good, I'll be plenty happy.

I had my 82-year-old mother and my anti-gun sister and her husband and kids from the city all enjoying some "parlor shooting" with it over the weekend.  As they were leaving to return to the big city, I heard my 13-year-old nephew and his 11-year-old brother scheming to figure a way to buy one...  :D

I checked out that review.  Those high-dollar versions must be really nice!  The article mentioned being able to hit a tennis ball-sized target at 20 feet.  I'd say that the accuracy potential of my cheap S&W from Dick's.

I'll try to post a range report with some test target photos later this week.  8)

My CZ-75 airsoft pistol showed up in the mail today.  It looks great and shoots well.

Here's the pistol:

home.earthlink.net/~desmo...0CZ-75.jpg

It's full sized, but a bit light.  It's great for living room practice.  Here are a couple of test targets (the black centers are 2.75" across).

home.earthlink.net/~desmo...argets.jpg

The first is with the supplied .25gr. 6mm airsoft BBs and the second is with lighter .20gr. BBs.  The holes don't show up well in my scans, but both groups were 1.5".  Distance was across my living room... the range from my shooting station (couch) to target butt (chair) was 12'.

Good for cabin fever relief.... (it was 10 degrees below zero F here this morning and it never got above 10F all day).

Good shooting,

Found a see-through model at the local Big 5 Sporting Goods store for under $40.

The web site quoted above states that any sales to the US will have the muzzle of the pistol painted orange.  How did yours get by that regulation??

Mine came with an extended blaze orange muzzle piece.  Bad enough that it had to be orange, but it stuck out an additional .5".   I was kind of bummed, but figured that was the way it had to be.  I was planning on cutting it back, but when I looked through the pistol's packaging later, I found a second muzzle piece that was smaller and silver colored.  The blaze orange piece was not glued in place.  In the instruction manual (all in Japanese) there were pictures of installing the smaller silver muzzle piece and gluing it in place.

(I bought my pistol from an eBay seller based in the far east.)

I wish I could find the instruction manual in English.
