CZ75B Stainless Report
« on: March 04, 2009, 10:49:39 PM »
I took an Intermediate Concealed Handgun Fighting course last weekend. Eight (8) hours total instruction, including two (2) hours on the range putting what we learned into practice. The range was outdoors, and it was brutally cold outside, the day after a good half foot snow fall. I was using my CZ75B and Winchester 115 FMJ ammo. My pistol was one of the few to fire without malfunction. I have put several hundred rounds out of this pistol previously with no problems, but never in such cold weather. The instructors were using Glocks that functioned flawlessly, too. Not a good day for the M&P's and XD's.

The CZ75B has been my concealed carry gun since I purchased it toward the beginning of the year. This exercise has given me complete confidence in the weapon, not easy being a lifelong revolver shooter. I have shot semi-autos in the past, and have not been impressed with the reliability under all conditions. So far, I have not found a condition where the CZ has trouble. My sons (Oldest with a CZ75B, Middle with a P-01, and the youngest with a P-01) have had similar experience. I am happy enough with the CZ that I recently purchased a CZ75BD as a second gun.
