« on: March 27, 2009, 04:10:58 PM »
Help! Trying to find a IWB holster for my SP01, Only thing I came up with is a Blade-Tech Model. Is there anything else out there????

What does everyone use that has an IWB for their SP01??

Check out High Noon holsters.  They have a variety of IWB and OWB holsters for the SP-01! :D

I just ordered two different Blackhawk nylon holsters.  They were cheap and look functional enough.  This way I'll get to try out wearing it a certain way without dumping a whole bunch on some expensive thing that'll collect dust.  I have enough expensive things collecting dust as it is.

I ordered a  High Noon Mr Softy , was supposed to show up today, but bleep UPS doesn't show up until 6:20pm, after I had already left my house for the night.  They didnt leave it, which they normally do, so now i have to wait until Monday.  Ill give a review once I receive it.

I have a High Noon Tail Gunner for IDPA. I dig it. YMMV.

My thoughts, The all leather construction is as comfy as it gets with IWB. Kydex is like wearing a jock strap sideways. Kydex will be faster, although the hard rubber sight track is plenty fast for my tastes. That and I like tan belts over black so the rubber ones look goofy for every day carry.

Just got the High Noon Mr Softy last night.  Here are some pics.  This is my first try at embedding them so I hope it works.

Regarding the holster: Its comfortable enough, fits the SP01 well, clip stays on the belt, however one drawback would be unable to reholster with one hand.  Since its made of neoprene, the bottom tends to collapse once the gun is out.  You can get the barrel back in the opening, but below the waistline it is really difficult.

I just got mine and it fit perfect in my Galco Sumer comfort made for a SIG 220 with a rail.

BRASMAN post some pics of your Galco Summer Comfort. Also I would like to see how it fits you and the SP-01.

Thanks

It fits snug and nice. It does not seem to stick out of the end as far as the picture makes it look. The holster is a Galco Summer Comfort for a Sig 220 ST with a rail. It fits a Ruger P345 even better. At first I was concerned with the lack of a sweat gaurd but I have had no problems. The pistol is a .40 Tactical.
