CZ82 Problem
« on: October 27, 2009, 02:57:03 PM »
New to this board and did a search that didnt answer my question so I am posting this for help.
Bought a CZ-82 from Aim and the firing pin is sticking the spring is strong and I cleaned and lubed everything but still sticks. What can I do to fix this issue this is my first CZ and I really want to shoot it.
Thanks

go here http://www.gunsprings.com/1ndex.html
and order a spring pack for your pistol always good to replace the firing pin AND recoil spring at same time if possible, so at least you know that it has been done and it gives you a baseline.

Wolff spring kits ar highly recommended.

Remember these are surplus pistols about 20 years old, and have had likely lots of range time and abuse, and some dis-use.

Start there.

I believe in the kits the firing pin spring is standard, but if you mean the recoil spring, IIRC it is 11# from factory, most spring kits come with 11#, 16.5#, and 18#.

Most folks usually find the 16.5# works best for them.
