Tacman, I apologize for the delayed reply (I missed your question).  The side rails are a couple of weeks from being completed at Czech Small Arms.  The mounts with shell deflectors will be after that.  Unfortunately, this project has been delayed as they have their hands full right now with the 5.56mm vz.58 and the .222 Remington vz.58 (for those countries not allowing military calibers.  ie. Spain). 

When they are done, Czech Small Arms will ship a few samples to me.  I'll post pics when I get them.  I do not have info on pricing or assembly details at this time.

I found this on the Canadian site its the front NEA rail mount looks very good to me...








Looking at these im feeling that we have some great options on the horizon, cant wait till more and more vz accessories surface.

Interesting camo job. If I win the lottery, (dagnabbit, forgot to buy a ticket!), I wanna duracoat my vz-58 desert digital, or Rhodesian, if I can find anyone who knows how to do Rhodesian!

All the pics are the same rail, its a second version and is going to be available real soon and they are also working on a lower rail. the site that's going to carry them initially is http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/default.asp?Pg=8&do=3&mcid=1&scid=12&pid=142 but i heard that Czechpoint is also working with NEA. The rifle is owned by i beleive the designer of the rail and it was done with krylon fusion i believe.

By the way he is a pic of there prototype lower and gen 3 top rail. Very very cool owned by a Canadian forum member.

The top and bottom rails look very good on the VZ 58. I can't wait to order one for mine.

That's a nice solid looking forearm - I notice he has the same folding stock I do. :) BTW, on that camo'ed one at top, is that a LaRue Iron Dot sight?
