CZ 85 Combat vs. 75B?
« on: April 13, 2010, 08:40:31 PM »
I posted the same question on the 75B Club...I currently have three 75B's...does anyone in this club have 75B's, and how does the 85 Combat compare to it?
Thanks in advance...

The CZ-85 COMBAT is a better version IMO because it doesn't have a firing pin block. Most of the time the firing pin block isn't too bad, but it does affect the trigger pull.

It is also my opinion that the CZ-85 COMBAT could use the following updates....

1) a reversible magazine released like the 75B Stainless and SP-01
2) SA frame shape with the extended beavertail
3) stainless steel
4) I'd also like to see a Novak Extreme Duty style adjustable rear sight

Big advantage is still no FPB.  I like adjustable sights, even though I rarely use them (adjust them) once I standardize on a load.

The artist formerly known as FEG...
