They don't? Century International had no problems shipping me one on my C&R. Got a nice looking one, 2 mags, and a holster for $202 shipped.

I must admit that I have only read that on other forums I have no personal knowledge of their policies.  Contact them to be sure.

CDNN will not ship to C & R holders.  You have to go through a regular dealer.  I know from experience.

I am a new member, and based on my experience  DO NOT BUY ONE FROM CDNN!  Mine mechanically was fine, but the slide was painted.  And I mean not baked on, but just spray painted.  The paint came off with gun oil.  The grips are horrible and I ordered one of the LIKE NEW ones.  A complete misrepresentation.  I called and complained and all they would do is drop $20 from the price.  On top of this they onlyl come with one mag and no holster.  I wish I would of found this forum sooner and I would of gotten one from Centruy or the other retailers mentioned.

So, I completely stripped it and refinished it.  I cannot complain about the function, very accurate and reliable, I love how it shoots.  I did have to contour the bottom of the safety lever becaus it bit my hand and drew blood, now after a little dremillling it is nice and comfy to shoot.  Waiting on some good grips and I will post pics of how I finished it.

I bought 2 from CDNN and one is completely flawless and the other barely has a bit of finish worn off the end of the slide by the end of the barrel.

They are both flawless in performance and they are both pretty nice finish wise and not painted. They are the original coating.

Buy some home finishing material and re-finish the gun yourself. It's really easy to do.

I guess it's really the luck of the draw then.  I already re-finished mine, as soon as my new grips come in I will post up some pics.

gandog56, a Class 03 FFL Curios and Relic license is for non dealers, for collectors only. So a C&R license allows a distributor to ship a qualified firearm, in this case a CZ 82, to a holder of the license.  They're only $30 and are good for 5 years.  You fill out some paperwork, send in to BATFE, and in about 6 weeks you have your license in hand.

Well, that and the fact you have to call them to get their pistol prices is why I won't use them.
