Range day and ammo test of CZ 453 Varmint 22lr

Hey!

This session is actually from last year.. but i was'nt a members at that time so i thought i could share it with you now instead =) (Hope you don't mind the large image sizes.. at least i didnt upload the to the forum-server =)

Heres my rifle. CZ 453 Varmint 22lr. I know - crazy high bipods and a bit high scopemounts.



This is the range. Its used for sighting in hunting rifles mostly. The rifle lays at about 50 yards and the picture is take from the 109 yard line (100 meters)


Here are some of the results. All 5-shot groups from 109 yards. Seems like it likes the RWS ammo, cepts it (or probably myself) produces som flyers with it.

RWS High Velocity 2,6gr FMJ


RWS High Velocity 2,6gr Hollowpoint


Winchester Superspeed 40 grain solid and Winchester Subsonic 40 grain Hollowpoint

Strange? I used some kind of picture upload site.. perhaps a bad one =) Got any tip of which one to use? I'll try to get the pics up tonight, i'm at work now and havent got access to them =)

There, i fixed it, and made it a little bit better =) Turned out i did have the photos here, on a USB-stick =)

These groups aren't measured, sorry about that. And it does not really show the full potential of the rifle, I did not have a good rest to shoot from. I shot from prone position with those very much too high bipods I'll shoot some more as soon as the snow goes away =)

We gun owners in Sweden are a minority.. so that reflects in our small and often primitive ranges. =( To find a fairly large and modern range you would have to move to a greater city which has more shooters, more competitions/year and therefor has better economy for new installations. But hey, I do like my small shooting range in the woods. =)
