Help with 527 Varmit Laminate Stock decision
« on: June 16, 2010, 07:42:00 AM »
My dealer has this, is it good buy for target??----------It's this or Tikka 12 Varmit
---------------------------------------------
Model 527 varmit .223 with laminated stock

CZG03041      1:9 Twist             $729.00
----------------------------------------------
I WAS looking at the Varmit 527 in wood stock----any reason to use a laminate vs wood stock???????

I target shoot only no hunting, 100 yd max.

Thanks!!

That sounds like a pretty decent deal to me, though I am not really up to date on the street prices of the 527 Varmint.

Just a thought though....Have you contacted Jason Steele of Steele Firearms? He is a big supported of this board and in my experience has excellent prices on all CZ guns. Great guy to do business with....at least from my experience with the 4 rifles I've bought from him in the last year.

His website is  http://www.steelefirearms.com/Products.aspx   his email is jason@steelefirearms.com

Thanks--Yes I have done business with Jason. I traded in a Marlin 336,and have a $400 credit at my dealer, so I need to go though him.

thanks!
