PCR holster - fit size question...
« on: April 24, 2010, 08:06:31 PM »
Hello all.  I am a proud owner of a 9mm PCR and have been researching holsters for it.  I am currently leaning towards the Minotaur MTAC Holster.  Only problem is that many holster manufacturing sites do not list the PCR by itself... in the case of the Minotaur MTAC Holster, my options are:

1.  75B Compact 9mm
2.  75/85
3.  P-01

Now, I have a feeling that either the 75B Compact or the P-01 will be almost identical in body structures and will work for my PCR, but before I shell $80 to order one, I was hoping someone can advice me of which size to get.

Thanks folks.

Anything that says CZ75 Compact will fit, Compact and PCR are identical frame shape. P01 is slightly differant with the M3 rail, but a P01 holster will also generally fit a PCR with no difficulty. Also, semi boned holsters made for the Glock 19 have a tendancy to fit P01/PCR, as my bianchi M-100 IWB does just fine. Of course, with holster makers like hazel, High Noon, HBE, Don Hume and such offering rigs for the Compact, you shouldn't have to go with something lesser. :)

I've been reading the CTAC Minotaur site as well.  ??  Is there such a thing as a 75B Compact ??

If you can live with or like a thumb break, Bianchi Black Widow #5
It is shown on website available for CZ Compact, but mine is for a Beretta 92, which fits excellent. A little bigger than a Yaqui Slide, and has a thumb break cover strap, works great for riding bike. Available in left or right, black or natural. Mine is left at 7 -7:30 OWB

Here is my PCR in a Bianchi #5... http://www.czforumsite.info/index.php?topic=28601.msg154746#msg154746

Love the fit and style, works for me. Great holster, found mine in the used holster bin at LGS for about $40. Would of loved it in black.

I went with the Slide Guard in Horse Leather for my PCR.

It took three months to get here but it was well worth the wait.  Fit was excellent.  I also have the Hazel Leather IWB holster which too is of excellent quality.  I would recommend either if you are looking for a quality leather holster.

I'm looking at the Slide Guard as well.  Any idea if it's IDPA compliant?

Thanks
