Sp01 Mag capacity?

Good day all. I've been eyeballin the SP01 9mm for a while now and I think I may get the tacticle real soon . It seems like most places advertise this pistol with either 18rd mags or 19rd mags. Which is it? 18+1 or 19+1? ??? Thanks, Tim.

officially it's an 18 rd mag, but most hold 19 out of the box, and all will with a bit of use or with a little file.

I ordered the magazine three-pack from CZ a few months ago.  Could get only 18 into two mags but 19 into the third.  Of the original mags, could get 19 into one and 18 into the other.  What filing are you referencing, Wanderer?  Thanks.

on one mag i filed a little off the bottom of the follower.

if shorten the follower slightly you can gain some capacity.  the legs however keep the follower stable as it feeds up the stack. get it too short and you may run into problems.

that said I have gone to some extreme playing around and pretty much flattened the bottom of the follower and attached the mag spring to play with capacity.

Beven Gram is making a kick ass follower and spring for CZ mags now.
