I have had similar issues with Gander.....I keep going in for some reason even though I've never walked out with a gun from them.....their 'sale' prices are a joke.

I agree.  When I was looking for a M91/30 I liked the sale price of $119.99 for a very good condition one but every time I went in or called they said that they were sold out and to check that thursday they might have more.  It got to the point where I thought to myself that was just a gimmic to get people in.

I even went in to buy bullets for the mint condition M91/30 I finally got but all they had was 180 and 200 grain bear cartridges even though the rifle was designed for the 148 grain light ball rounds.

I am looking at a CZ-82 currently and a gunshop down the street from me is wanting $319.99 for it but if I buy it from AIM for $220 with the $10 hand select fee, and the shops $40 fee I was at $275 minus the cost of s&h.  Not much cheaper than the price hes asking.  Would really prefer to find this gun for as close to $200 as possible if not cheaper in good condition.  I mean I paid $220 + tax for a arsernal refurbished mint condition numbers matching 1939 Tula M91/30.  So $220+ for a used non refurbished non mint condition CZ-82 is kind of crazy.

Not that bad of a price, AIM has them for $210 for the CZ82 pistol with holster, 2 mags and the cleaning rod.  I am waiting to contact this other gunshop that is runned out of this guys house down here, he talks like he can get anything for just about any price your looking for.  When I do I will post the details here and the cost of a CZ82 if he was able to get one for $200 or less.

I recently dealt with CDNN, had gotten a fine PA FEG from them, some other stuff. Ist pass--VG, magazine would not release. Sent it back, upgraded to VG/Ex special pick, the manual safety will not work.
I have no C&R, have to ship to my local FFL, this is too expensive to keep up. I would rate the finish of my "special pick" as barely VG, more like G. Have heard good things about AIM, maybe next time, Ron in FL

Try these people.

Says they are out of stock on CZ82's, and I can't stand places that say call for prices.

Which is why I never have bought a pistol from CDNN.

Some manufacturors won't allow advertising prices below a certain amount, which may be why CDNN says "call." Not uncommon in the retail world. Much the same as "Prices so low you won't believe it" instead of quoting the price.

I've made 3 purchases from CDNN (2 -CZ-82s & 4566) and all three were great. The CZ-82s run from $159 to $189, depending on condition. Comes with one mag. I don't need the cheap holster that others supply. It would never be used. I bought the VG-Excel for $169 and was more than pleased with the condition. Very good service and prompt. Then I promptly stripped and DuraCoated both 82s!
Life isn't fair, stop expecting it to be.

I just got my second CZ 82 from AIM, except for a tiny bit of holster wear at the muzzle end of the slide---as new. I am very pleased. I got a swell PA 63 from CDNN and thought they would be good for CZ82, but one I sent back, and one I kept are just adequate and not worth the extra pick money I spent (not to mention the costs of return shipping, etc. At present it seems to me that AIM's reputation is justified. But I guess with milsurp it is luck of the draw, at least thru the mail. I just ordered the forms for C&R so Obama will be able to keep track of me. God Bless, Ron in SW FL
