CZ LOGO

Can anyone shed any light on when and why the circle with CZ logo was dropped in favor of the current one, the abstract of a pistol? And it finally dawned on me what the new one represents; it is the letters UB for Uhersky Brod.

This has been the symbol of CZ-UB for many years, since they organized as a private concern in 1992, I believe. The older one dates to communist controlled era, IIRC.
