« on: September 21, 2010, 05:24:26 PM »
Hi, Im new comer to the forum and glad i found this site. My trigger spring broke few days ago. Anyone here who have extras to sell at a reasonable cost? CZ USA charge for $9 for a $2 part. Thanks

$9 is unreasonable to repair your pistol? Cut the lock off that wallet and get the CZ back in action.

$9 does seem a bit on the high side.  But keep in mind that this gun is long out of production and parts are getting harder to find.  It's my understanding that the CZ82 and 83 have many compatible parts.   Check to see if the CZ83 part is cheaper (unlikely, but you never know).

Better still, just buy a couple more CZ82's and you'll always have a spare.

Best of luck.

$9.00 is pocket change for most people. I've paid a lot more for parts on obsolete/old guns before just to keep them usable. I'd drop $9.00 to keep my 82 running.

What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?

Thanks , i will go ahead and get two trigger springs and a sear spring just in case. I just cleaned my gun and reblue the white  polished areas with Perma Blue Birchwood Casey Liq .

Wolff makes a nice recoil spring calibration pack that comes with extra hammer springs too. There's no telling how much wear and tear the ones in the gun have. The heavier recoil springs help tame the -82s tendency to toss empty cases into the next county. Helps if saving brass. The rest don't take that much abuse, but it sure is handy to have a spare if one breaks or goes flying during disassembly!

Hey tongix,
I have been looking for spare trigger springs myself. Can you post the link to where you found them? I am wanting extras for my 82s so i can play with cutting them down for doing a trigger job.
Thanks.

They have them at CZ USA here is a link:

https://shop.cz-usa.com/item_detail.aspx?ItemCode=0330026001

Have most any part you need for the CZ83, most of which will fit the CZ82.

The Wolff Calibration Pak includes three recoil springs (14.5, 16.5 & 18.5) and three extra power firing pin springs, the hammer and magazine spring are not yet available through Wolff.  I did e-mail them a few months back to ask about the other springs and was told they're considering them.
