Hard chrome or Nickle

Was looking at the price list for Fords refinishing and noticed that hard chrome and nickle are the same price and available in the same finises, bright, satin, matte.
That being the case, what is the best criteria to consider when trying to decide which of these two finishes to chooose?

For durability, and the added feature of "slickness", I would recommend the hardchrome.   In fact, I would choose the hardchrome in any comparison.  It can be done in satin, brushed, or bright, depending upon which look you want, and pretty much will do anything the nickel will do.
