NEW FLGR'S

Hi all! Let me start out by saying that I'm not trying to step on anybodies toes here, but I have a machine shop here in Tucson that has a couple of CNC machines and lathes and is very interested in making FLGR'S and possibly new mag catches with the proper dimensions. The owner is very into guns and shooting. I can also assure you the FLGR's would cost less than $37.00.
If you're interested, post here or email me at mike630@cox.net and I'll get this project rolling, and nail down a price. Again, I'm not trying to take money away from Mike, it just seems it's a real PIA for him to have to rent machine time to make the guide rods.

I'd be interested in a fixed magazine catch.  I assume you've read JR Farrar's posts and understand the nature of the modification.  If you can do that, please do tell.

I already have one of Mike S's FLGR.  Although I can't really claim that it improved accuracy or reliability (which were already great), I just like the way it looks.  I think a steel FLGR is a worthwhile investment.

I would be interested in the mag-catch.  If you actually start making them, I will buy one.

I as well would be interested.  It would be nice if you could offer and extended mag release button.  I sure would jump on that.  Please let us know what you work out.

Just to let everyone know, I'm meeting with the owner of the machine shop early this week. I will let you know the outcome as soon as I find out. Also, I have read JR's posts about the mag catches, and what needs to be done. If the mag catches are a go, they will be brand new.

Extended mag release, or extended slide release? Or both? The owner of this shop seems to be up for anything!

I would like anouther magazine catch, as well as an extended slide release as well.

The only other thing I would want changed would be a longer hammer spur.
