Cheap holster and spring for the CZ100 9mm?
« on: November 03, 2005, 09:42:09 AM »
I picked up my CCW yestrerday, the person at the Shreiffs department said it was the fastest on she had seen come back.

Applied on Thursday and got the call the next Wendsday to pick it up.

Now I need a holster.  Preferably something I can slide in my waist quickly as I get out of a car.  Who makes them?

Also I have the stock spring in the 9mm.  The recoil is not a problem and wondered if I should even mess with the spring.  Is there a benifit?

Thanks

Congratulations on your CCW.

I only buy holsters from three places.

HBE Leatherworks

High Noon Holsters

Haugen Handgun Leather

All three make really fine holsters and all are good people to work with.

Now, concerning your recoil spring. If the recoil of the pistol does not bother you, I would not change the recoil spring for a couple of thousand rounds, anyway. You are not going to do any damage to the pistol. In effect the frame is a giant shock buff. If you are happy with the pistol the way it is, leave it alone.

Good luck on finding a holster.

If you're looking for a economical holster for the 100, try Ross Leather holsters.  They make 2 models under $50.  Both are IWB; M14AS & M15. Go to ccwsupply.biz and click on the Ross Holster link at the bottom of the page.
