New member with a new 75 COMACT 40 and I LOVE IT. When I bought this bad boy I started to read this forum. My first thought was to sell it after reading about the horror stories in the past. But I took a breath and held firm. Of course I did some polishing like I always do to the ramp and metal slide. Went to the range and pumped a 100 Federal 135 grain JHP hyda shoks thru it with only one FTL. I think that was my fault. I normally rap the mag against something hard before I run it up,( Military Thing ) and that mag I didn't do. ( don't ask ) The mouth of the hollow point caught the lower part of the Ramp. That was on the last mag of 135 grain HP. After that shot up 50 rounds of 180 grain Winchester Ball (FMJ) with out a single problem. And for fixed sights out of the box this pistol is really acurate at 7yards and 15 yard. the 180 grain ammo was the most acurate. ( I'll be using it ) I plan to get some adjustable sights to fine tune the 15 and 25 yards. Oh Yeah! on each bullet type 135 and 180 I fired one mag rapid continuos fire and NO PROBLEM.So all of you who have second thoughts about the CZ 75 COMPACT at this time DON'T
