CZ 83 tight magazines
« on: December 27, 2011, 08:04:39 PM »
Have a question I hope someone can help with:

The mags on my new 83 are "tight".  Rounds are fairly difficult to load, and then unloading them is pretty hard too.  They won't just slide out.  They go 1/2 way out, but then its hard to get them to go the rest of the way.  The 83 is .380 caliber, and I'm using Monarch ammo until I can buy some Sellier & Bellot.  I'm wondering if maybe there is a slight difference btween US-made and European ammo?

I have sprayed some RemOil into the magazines to lubricate the spring.

Any ideas?

I was going to suggest lubrication - but I would go with a silicon spray rather than an oil. I find that oils tend to attract debris and get gummy over time.
