Availability?
« on: February 24, 2012, 03:14:25 PM »
One of my dealer friends got a CZ75 Compact duo tone in and I said I wanted it. I had to wait two and a half weeks until pay day. In the meantime he took it to a gun show where it was sold. No problem, order another. He did but they are out of stock and on back order. I asked the company how long the wait might be. Even if they answer, I will probably be told "We can't say for sure." I thought I might try here and see if anyone has any experience with the wait on back ordered CZ's. (the gun buying craze isn't getting kicked into gear again...is it?)

CZ told me if you place an order today, expect to wait 2-3 months! Luckily, I waited 3 more days to buy one because my online site (tab in my favorites) just got the Nickel model in stock on Sunday I called them they confirmed in stock ready to ship and I just sent my money order on Monday :)

Thanks folks. My dealer found another supplier who had a compact in duo tone. At first I was not too excited about a two tone pistol...until I saw it and I am glad I waited. I love it. Lets everyone get those refund checks cashed and spent so we don't have to wait so long again.

Once you get your duo tone, think about getting some Hakan Pek grips! Here's mine with his black/silver laminates.
