CZ 97B -- Fobus Holster
« on: January 18, 2012, 08:31:31 AM »
Just picked up a CZ 97B -- Polycoat Finish -- Plan to use for Shooting Competitions that require/use 45acp

Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Bladetech and I always have had good luck with Focus (retention screw type) Holsters -- Their website indicate the the following holsters will work, has anyone tried them and can confirm they do.

I emailed Fobus and they replied that it will work -- the holsters below are for CZ 97, Walther PPS, and Taurus 709 Slim.

Thanks

Fobus Holsters per Website (and Amazon/Optics Planet)

I gave it a shot -- Ordered from amazon.com -- does not fit.

-- Very tight around the slide/dust cover

-- Slide stop that extends out the right side of pistol does not go into the holster like it should

So even though Fobus says it fits -- It does not.

I know this is an old thread, but save your money and stop buying these cheap POS holsters. THey are a cheap for a reason.

Check out Bladetech or Comptac, as well as other custom holster makers.

I have a 97b Bladetech holster FS in the marketplace now...
