Which one?
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:02:16 PM »
I am trying to decide which pistol to do a trigger job on. I can only buy one and its between my xdm-9 or my cz85 combat. I don't shoot all that often but want to do a drop in trigger by prp for the xd-m or the hammer kit from cajon gun works for the cz85. Any suggestions or experience with both guns would be appreciated.

I vote for the 85 Combat.
I just sent my 85 combat to David at cajun gun works. I had his #3 hammer kit installed along with the ultra lite spring kit, then I pulled out all the stops and had it turned into a SAO with the CZ flat SAO trigger. I am planning on doing a whole write up about it after I get more trigger time. I have owned a XDM-9 and i sold it off. didn't like it at all. I bought a CZ 75 shadow target, i liked it so much I sold off all my HKs and bought an 85 combat, and some other goodies.

Aaron...you are going to have a really nice trigger on your 85C after David works his magic on it.

I would also vote on the 85C for the trigger work. It will make a good gun; OUTSTANDING

Stuart - do you have any concern with the Cajun Gun Works Hammer Kit?  I am planning to get the Hammer Kit 2 and install it myself.  What is the difference between the Self-defence cut and the Target/Competition cut?
