It almost looks like the GR is slightly too short. I'd call CZ Custom in the AM and ask them.

swedishlaser looks to have removed the pics so I can't tell if I have the same problem. I have 3 guides for my SP01. The stock poly and I purchased the beefy poly and steel version both from CZ Custom. Both poly versions are flush with the end of the guide hole, which looks normal to me. The steel one, the tip sits just inside the guide hole, and seems to get hung up slightly when racking the slide. Is this steel rod the right one, or do I need diffferent style? Maybe my gun is old, even though I just got it and this rod is for newer model? Serial# is B05XXXX. See photos. Hoping Stuart or someone from CZ custom sees this and can let me know. I can still shoot sine I have the poly's, but just wondering if I need a different Steel one, or if this is normal? Might the steel one work on my new 97BD I am picking up today?

Mines is flush but there really isn't anything to hang up on at the depth shown in your picture.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

My pic of the SS guide rod did not come up. Here it is below. I am going to go with the CZC beefy poly guide with their #15 spring and see how if goes. I always have the stock, and SS one to go to if needed. I think the binding I felt when racking the slide was just the spring setting anyway. Now to save up for the hammer and trigger work....
