CZ75 Hi-Cap Magazines in a PCR Compact
« on: March 03, 2002, 05:48:07 PM »
I recently bought 2 CZ75 hi-cap magazines from Cheaper Than Dirt. They both feed well, but stick out of the butt about 1/2" or so. Is there a collar that I could put on these mags so that the grip is extended when I use them? My pinky usually rests at the bottom of the grip and I hate it when it slips off when using these mags!

Thanks,

James

I have thought about this and thought about it somemore...I posted an idea of machining a sleeve like you are talking about on the net and a guy gave me an awesome suggestion.
At crafts stores, they sell a product that is pliable like clay at first, you shape it the way you want and bake it...it hardens to the consistancy of a hard rubber ....it also comes in colors, I just wanted black.  I cant remember the name of it and I happen to find some Pre bans for my Compact...so I never pursued it any further.  Check into it, it sounded really easy and perfect for what you are looking for.  Shoot well

      Hi there,

The name of that clay is Fimo. Used to have great fun with that stuff...
