Powder Valley and Berry's 124gr HBRN ADVISORY
« on: October 24, 2012, 08:44:36 PM »
A friend who knew I had just recieved these Berrys 124 HBRN from P.V.  advised me to double check the bullets in the box.
I checked and the PV white sticker said 124HBRN, BUT the box said 115gr HBRN.  I also ordered and recieved some other Berry's bullets that were correctly labelled.

It turns out there was some kind of mistake made in their warehouse with the 124gr HBRN TP-DS bullets.
When I notified them of the problem,  PV sent the correct bullets the next day and a return FedEx label for the 115gr bullets.

I wasn't going to post this, cuz stuff happens--even with good companies.   Then I thought about how the bullets may have stayed in my stash for quite a while, before I tried to load them if my friend hadn't given me a heads up.
Other reloaders probably do the same.

The problem at PV is probably fixed, but if you recieved any of these particular bullets recently, double check you got what you paid for.

Thanks for the heads up.

PV is a good outfit IMO.

Glad they made things right.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

Ditto!  PV is a great company to work with.  We all make mistakes occasionally and it's refreshing to hear how fast and efficiently they resolved the issue.  Thanks for the heads-up 1SOW!

Just sayin', and I'm sure this is how you noticed, if I'm opening a box for the.first time, I'm going to check a. Couple before starting. Never assume.
