For kicks I tried my Witness steel 45/22 .22 conversion slide on the Armalite. The slide fits good but when the slide stop is inserted the back of the slide is about 1/8" beyond the frame and it is a no go for function. I mainly tried this in an attempt to find out if my slide would work on a Tanfoglio P19L which we know to be a small frame Tanfoglio.

You cannot mix conversions between the Large Frame and Small Frame Tanfoglio based Pistols, but now you already know this from your experience.

My Armalite 24 tactical came in this afternoon everything looks to be in good condition-has the same adjustable rear sight on it that my sar K-2 pistol has. A little of the finish is worn off the slide stop and safety, but other than that everything looks great nice and tight. Unfortunately i will have very little time too shoot this week as I have a lot of cerakote orders to complete this week. Trigger has a slight gritty feel to it ,but I am confident that it will smooth out as it gets some use. I like the weight it balances well in the hand and the grip actually has a better feel than my SP01 CZ.  Now I just need some time at the range. Brian /EFR

Well, it appears that I waited too long to buy additional mags.I can find none anywhere since all the foolishness started.Know one has any small frame tanfo,Baby Eagle or Jericho mags in stock either. I may have to try some CZ 75 mags and alter if need be, sp01 mags,plain ole cz 75 ?
I talked myself into trimming the "hump" off the right side of the grip. I never plan to sell it so it does not really matter.The grips are perfect for me and my hold now.
