Where is the Rule of Law?
« on: February 12, 2013, 10:26:14 PM »
Liberals support many cities (Oakland, Boulder, Madison, Portland, etc.) passing legislation refusing to obey lawfully enacted laws (eg. the Patriot Act).

Pres. Obama issued an Order prohibiting certain law enforcement officers from following lawfully enacted Federal Statutes (eg. Immigration laws).

Yet when some law enforcement officers state they will not enforce unconstitutional laws laws that illegally impinge on our 2nd amendment rights - the liberals squeal foul and demand that these folks follow the law.

We are no longer a nation who values the Rule of Law. Sad.

What Constitution?  Our politicians have been using it for toilet paper for a long time.

Governmental power is derived from the U.S. Constitution, through specifically enumerated powers and privileges. And because the Federal Government constantly breaches this contract between the government and the governed, they also void out their authority too. The maintenance of a Constitutional Republic solely depends upon a firm resolve from its citizenry in the face of tyranny, as opposed to an agreeable and subdued serfdom (content with its bread and circus).
"It does not take a majority to prevail. But rather, an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
-Sam Adams
