I wanted to take a minute and show, in pictures, a comparison between a 1992 CZ 75 Pre B and a new CZ 75 BD Police. Here's the two side by side:

You've got to admit the oval shaped trigger guard is nice. Notice the different front sights, hammers, and rear slide serrations. Obviously the pre has a hammer block and the BD the de-cocker. Gone are the years of manufacture in the oval behind the ejection port.

Next I thought it would be good to show the barrels, Pre on the left and BD on the right. Notice the pronounced "Nub" on the top on the Pre. Notice how much meatier the fixed lug is on the Pre vs the BD.
Now the slide...

Obviously the sights are different but that should be expected as technology improves. The biggest difference to me are the groves on top of the BD slide and the size of the ejection ports. The Pre has a larger port that the BD!

Along with all this modern advancement they seem to have changed the guide rod from steel to a plastic one on the BD.

Original logo which I personally dig! Any questions? Ask away. My purpose for displaying these is to highlight the differences and provide side by side examples for those with out several guns to compare.
By the way, the 92 displayed here I just picked up for $400. I had asked a question trying to find the price range for these before I purchased it but it was locked down. I think my $400 was a priced right purchase.
Thanks for looking!!
