Harrington replacement firing pin
« on: May 22, 2005, 03:01:42 PM »
Hello,

I lost the instructions that came with my firing pin.  I'm having trouble installing the new pin as it seems to bind in the channel.  I cleaned out the channel real good but it still binds up.
If I take the spring off the FP seems to go through the channel OK.

Has anyone else installed one of these FP's and experienced the same problems?

David

Wish I could add something useful here.  I'm still using my original firing pin.

Why not contact Makarov.com or Harrington directly to ask for a new instruction page.  I'm sure someone can mail you a photocopy, or attach a PDF to an e-mail.

I thought I'd kick it around with you guys first.  I will check out George or Dr. Karl next.

Thanks.
