You know, I have been comparing the CZ-50 and the CZ-52 and have concluded the 52 really is nothing more than an evolved Cz-50. The frame design, the maner of take down, the hammer design, even the trigger bar, sear, and firing pin block are very close to each other (the single action mode in both pistols is the same). The safety works in the same manner, to the point that I am beginning to wonder if one could use the CZ-50 as a point of departure to create a double action CZ-52. More to the point, while I have not actually done so, both 50 and 52 I own are in pristine shape, I wonder if CZ-50 parts might actually fit into the 52 frame. Probably not all parts, and there are some dimensional differences (height), but if the trigger and hammer fit, it would be no great deal to create a new trigger bar as it is just a stamping. Just pondering.
