(1) Fingers pinched between magazine and grip (I assume while shooting and not when inserting mag)
(2) Rough or gritty trigger pull that takes 1000s rounds to smooth out
(3) Roll pin failure in relatively new weapons (from this forum)
Welcome to the forum, GeoBob from Mudlogger James! I just came into possession of a used '03 RAMI. Here's my thoughts on your questions:
1. I haven't had any "pinch" issues with the magazine while firing either the flush fitting 10 round magazine or the 14 round extended magazine. I do have large hands (XL gloves). The 10 round magazine fits my hands better with my little finger resting underneath the grip like shooting a single action revolver. The extended magazine (for me) needs to be just a little longer to comfortably fit all my fingers on it. They do fit, but it isn't as comfortable as a full size CZ grip frame.
2. My RAMI is used and has what I would consider a good trigger. New CZ's typically take around 2-400 rounds to break in. The firing mechanism parts are hardened steel and take a little longer than other guns to establish a wear pattern with each other. That doesn't mean they have a bad trigger, but the trigger will get much better with use. You can expedite this by having the gun sent out for a trigger job, or doing one yourself. It isn't that difficult, and there are several good posts on this forum about which parts to polish and how to go about doing it.
3. I haven't seen any issues with roll pins in any of my CZ's (75B .40, 75B 9mm, RAMI, and P-07 Duty) or any of my friends/family CZ's (Tactical Sport, 75BD Police, .40 Compact). Does that mean it can't happen? No. I just haven't seen it in my fleet.
Hope this helps! If you have any more questions please feel free to ask!
