Got Lucky
« on: March 14, 2013, 03:55:17 PM »
By that I don't mean got lucky the way you are thinking,  I got lucky finding a forum for CZ'S.
" If you want to sell here, read the bleep rules"  I like that, cut and dry.  I am not planning on selling here
what I want is to glean some info from people with  knowledge.
I have a couple of 75's and love them.  I could get by without the double stack mag (thin is in ) but I take what I can get.
I recently purchased a 82 and it easier to carry than the 75 at least the big one anyway.  So being a collector I have this urge to know.  I get  alot of info from forums and I really appreciate what I learn.
my question is on the right side where the proofs are right above the trigger guard what are the letters SHE for? Actually it says SHE 89 and crossed rifles or cannons whatever I take to be the Smokeless Powder proof.
I thought I read the 82 was made until 83 and then the 75 took it's place.  if anyone knows what SHE 89 is I would appreciate knowing. Thanks
Oh and by the way the CZ warehouse is in Kansas City KS but they still won't let me in.  It would be nice if they had an overrun store like Stetson or Wonder Bread has.

I "need" to sell, which forces me to post retarded replies everywhere.

The CZ 82 was first introduced in 1982 and was made until 1993 or 1994 (don't remember exactly). I don't know what the letters SHE mean but 89 means your CZ 82 was made in 1989.

The CZ 75 was first introduced in 1975 and is still being produced today.
