used 85B
« on: August 31, 2013, 10:07:01 PM »
I've been looking for a 75B for months.  I have checked online sites nearly daily, and stores that carry firearms every time I am in them to no avail.  But yesterday I found a used CZ 85B.  It was made in 2010 and looks pretty much new.  I am wondering what a good price is and if there is something specific I look for when checking it out.  I really want a CZ!  I was getting close to settling on a P-07, but I like the 75/85B much better.

Thanks.

CZ 85 are not as common as CZ 75. Therefore, IMO, the 85 should be worth a little more than the 75. I'd say it's worth about $500 at the most if it's black polycoat. If it's satin nickel it would be worth more.

CZ 82
CZ 83 Satin Nickel
CZ 75 P-01 ODG
CZ 75 P-06

Sent you a pm. I know a place that may still have a 75 BD (with a decocker) new
Remington R1 Enhanced, Chiappa Rhino 200DS, Sarsilmaz K2 45.

Guys, thanks a lot for the quick replies.

Yer, I'm not really a decocker fan, but I may consider it if the 85B doesn't work out.

Hoping to be a bonafide member of the forum soon.

Welcome to the forum and good luck in your search.  Don't settle, although many people love the P07 there is quite a bit of difference between them and the gun you desire.  The 75B is the flagship of the CZ line and, IMHO, a requirement in any CZ collection.

Cabalas Gun Library has a BD that looks very good.

Go a search for CZ:
