Tisas 1911's -new models now availble
« on: July 30, 2013, 02:39:12 PM »
Hi Brian from EFR here -I picked up a few more Turk made pistols this month. I shot both this morning finally with zero problems. The hard chromed version is a bit on the tight side ,but shot perfectly. I will have to run a couple hundred rounds thru both before passing final judgement on either pistol. Fit and finish is good every thing works as it should new right out of the box.  Both have all your modern 1911 features and they are reasonably priced. Accuracy was good -I had no trouble making head shots with them this morning. Here's a couple of photos-

Brian, have you seen any of the Tisas 9mm, competition/combat,-style pistols.
Years ago I corresponded with a factory representative (trabzonsilah@hotmail.com).  At THAT time the 45s were juuust being introduced and the 9mms were supposed to follow suit in a matter of months.  Never saw any.
I have some video somewhere of their factory production line.  They make a lot of pistols, including full auto's.

Just curious, a couple of them really looked and sounded good.

I have had 2 of their 9mm pistols The Zigana Sport actually had a really nice trigger with a short reset shot to point of aim had zero problems -was on the big side though a 5 .11 inch barrel. . I have toyed with getting the45 acp version of that pistol
