SKUNKED! :( :'(  Took seven shots, missed every time, (so did another member of the party, so I don't feel TOO bad), but the senior hunter took three dove and a rattlesnake that was trying to bushwhack us.

No shame in that!!  Doves are very difficult to hit!  Pheasants, ducks, geese, I just took 1 box of shells but come Dove season my vest weighed almost as much as I did!

The stats are 1 box of shells per 1 dove, so unless you shot a full box, there is no shame !  :o

I must be really good (or really lucky),,,, on the second day I got 4 doves with 3 shots.

I won't talk about the other shots.
