CZ SP-01 Tactical- Finally I got it and went to the range

The title only tells part of the story.  I waited since January to get my hands on an SP-01 Tactical.  Thanks to Stuart at Ghost Products, I got one!
Thank you Stuart, I truly appreciate your keeping me in mind when the guns came in.

After cleaning and lubrication, I took it to the range with 250 rounds of 9mm.  1/2 115 gr and 1/2 214 gr.

I am stunned how accurate this gun is!  First three shots were all in the 10 ring at 5 yards.  When I got comfortable, I moved out to 7 then 10.  This gun is truly a gem.  The trigger has a strange creep something like my 75BD and may work out with some use and break in.  Regardless, it's fine when it hits the break point.

As many others said before, this is the best gun out of the box I have ever shot.

Congrat's! The trigger will smooth out some with use, now you need a Kadet to keep your ammo costs down and one of Den's loaders to save your thumbs.

Congrats!  They're great pistols!  I felt the same you do with the trigger, nothing wrong with it, just could be a bit lighter on the SA break for my tastes.  So I looked into Cajun Gun Works and Schmecky has recommended his Race Hammer and Spring Kit 1.  You may want to email him down the road but for now...shoot 'er!!  It was a long wait for you, but I can tell you, mine is now my favorite shooter.

     Hiya tr20 and thanks for starting the thread, and congrats on the purchase. Thought my 6 month wait was long, you beat that by a mile. Handled one once at a LGS and liked the look and feel, breaking in a shadow at the time, seemed a lil to similar of a gun. I dont really recall the triggers action, but it was a decocker, not manual safety and wonder if thats the root/cause of the similar creep in your BD. My po-2 also is a decocker, coupled with the omega trigger system, its only weak link; my personal opinion. Stu was able to peak its performance, and mush and creep and play remain where I'd rather not have it, but its as good as its gonna get, and has other qualities that make it my EDC. You should know by now you were gonna get razzed without pics. Congrats on the purchase, and be well.

You will enjoy it and find that the more you shoot, the better you get and the better the gun gets. Ive got about 3K thru her now and things are about to get heated up.

I had an order in at CZCustoms for a SP01 Shadow Custom, I waited 2 months . . . I got tired of waiting so I picked up a SP01 Shadow Target on GunBroker.  Amazing guns as they are extremely reliable and accurate.
