Did you do a push test with a dummy load of the bullet(s) you are using? Check the threads and stickys for how to do this if you need help.

If your talking about factory ammo, I haven't found anything I can't shoot yet. If your reloading, you will have to check your own gun out. Sammi specs show from 1" min. to 1.169 max. I have shot a few just over 1" but they don't feed reliably. I have also shot a few just over the max by a couple thousandths without any trouble, but every gun is different so you have to find out for yourself. If your reloading, you'll have to be careful of the shape of the bullet so it doesn't touch the rifling when fed into the chamber which can cause dangerous pressures and you would have to adjust the amount of powder to conform with the seating depth of the bullet.

Rickyh -

Welcome Aboard !

Your answer would depend upon whether you are buying or handloading your ammunition. The SP-01 can handle the power of any ammo sold in the US, but you should probably not make a steady diet of +P grades of SD ammo.

The CZ does have a short freebore, so not every ammo on the US market fits in the CZ's chamber. The answer to this is to simply take your barrel with you when you go ammo shopping. Drop a sample cartridge into the chamber. It should generate a pleasant "ting" when it hits bottom and it should spin freely, without the bullet engaging the rifling.

There is not one bullet shape that guarantees success. Each cartridge has to be tested on its own. However, there is another thread (a sticky at the top of the forum) that lists all the brands that do well in a CZ.

Hope this helps.  ;)

The commercial ammo to be careful before buying 100s are  JHP and FP ammunition--especially with the "conical nose shapes".  Some 147 gr cartridges also may not feed properly.  Common 115gr or 124gr jacketted/plated RN bullets (ball ammo) is 99.8% likely to be okay.
Your CZ will like most all of the above, but there may be some that just won't seat in your chamber properly/safely.

As Wobbly said,  check the list of what your pistol will usually like to feed on before buying.
